TAB 1 - Health Care Provider's Orders
1. Monitor vital signs every 4 hours and prn.
2. Pad count; administer carboprost tromethamine (Hemabate) 250 mcg if pad count reaches 4 saturated pads in 1 hour.
3. Maintain intravenous infusion of Dextrose 5% and 0.45% normal saline at 75 mL/hr.
4. Intermittent urinary catheterization every 4 hours and prn for urine output less than 30 mL/hr.
5. Provide Rh immune globulin pending results of indirect Coombs' test.
6. Place newborn under phototherapy lights if bilirubin level greater than 15 mg/dL.
